Meet Colleen

Colleen Yorlets, M.S., M.A., BCBA, LABA

Colleen Yorlets (she/her/hers) is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 15 years of experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Colleen has also served as faculty at Simmons University and Assumption College.

Colleen is currently working towards earning her Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis from Simmons University and has previously earned a Masters degree in Behavior Analysis from Simmons University, a Masters degree in Psychology from Boston University, and her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Franklin and Marshall University.

Although Colleen has focused her work in Applied Behavior Analysis in working with children, she is especially interested in the Experimental Analysis of Behavior and enjoys designing and conducting experimental studies which have implications for our applied work. Colleen’s areas of interest include stimulus equivalence, errorless learning, and differential outcomes.

Colleen is an incredibly focused and hard worker, but does take some time to go for walks in “nature”, seek out the the best coffee shops (which of course have strong coffee and wifi) and sometimes enjoy a glass of wine or margarita with friends.
